The Birth of Friends for Life

Lanny's mother, June,  started this shelter 20+ years ago. She selflessly gave her own time, money, and love to help abandoned, injured, and lost critters. Dogs, cats, birds, you name it, she helped them. Lanny jokes that, while he was growing up, the family's income was spent more on the animals than the children. Now, after many years of faithfully serving our fine furry creatures, June must retire, and the torch is gladly passed down.

With a new set of able hands, Friends for Life is currently constructing a facility to better accommodate the rescues. This has been a dream for years and with the grace of God, it is currently being achieved. There have been many changes and Friends for Life continues to grow!
